Stomp Out Cyber bullying!
Friday, March 30th, is "Stop Cyber bullying Day".
Andy Carvin--great idea!
For those of you who know me, and those who do not, for the past two years, I've championed Internet Safety issues and concerns in my school, district and region. Cyber bullying is front and center on my agenda as Regional Office of Educations Internet Safety Coordinator, and is of utmost importance to me.
Many parents are unaware of cyber bullying, the tactics used, and the effects it can cause. Anything we can do, to make others aware, is a first step. Spread the word--let's stomp out cyber bullying, a rapidly increasing problem that is affecting our children as well as adults.

I agree. Cyberbullying has gotten out of control. Parents need to talk with their children about it. They need to understand that it's as real as physical bullying.
