kangaroo-sign.jpgCyber bullying will no longer be tolerated in Victoria, Australia.

Education Minister, Jacinta Allan, said in an effort to keep a safe environment in schools, "We want to keep pace with changes in technology and the rise in cyber bullying. We want to crackdown on it and we want to send a very clear message that cyber bullying or any other type of bullying will not be tolerated in Victorian schools."  She went on to say that cyber bullying required a collective response from schools, students and parents.

Strategies to address cyber bullying as well as prevention will be added to all state schools Student's Codes of Conduct.

Hopefully, others will follow?
