More on acronyms...
10 years ago, Mike Molly, wanted to learn more about database programming and hoped to create a database of abbreviations and acronyms that he had been collecting for several years. So, he created and developed the site, AcronymFinder, and it has soared in popularity ever since! The site has grown tremendously over the past 10 years, with over 1 million unique visitors monthly, and now has over 500,000 terms and has a zip code/postal code finder as well!
Mike's site was featured on the front page of the Wall Street Journal earlier this year, and has been recognized elsewhere. What a wonderful tool for parents and teachers!!!

I read the Internet short forms post below. Did you ever write about ASCII art? I guess it doesn't relate to Internet safetty but I've always thought the shortforms led to the emoticons which led to the ASCII art. :)
Consider yourself tagged with a meme to dig through your old posts and pick out a golden oldie.
Hi ya Laura.
Nope, did not write about the ASCII jargon/art/language. (Check your email).
Thanks so much for the meme!! I shall work on that tomorrow!!
Have a wonderful evening and thank you for the comment!!
