Was I Cyber Bullied?
A comment left on Stumble-Upon, in its entirity:
- "Number one, Fix your damn scroll, bandwidth hog.
- Number 2, my children will never be grouped with yours.
- Number 3, for the children's sake is a ridiculous ploy for you disguising your own conscience being pushed onto everyone else's business.
- Number 4, while we're at it, let's blow up every country but America for "the children's sake" so no meany weany boogeymen foreigners can come blow up their buildings.
- Number 5, your child likes porn and doesn't want it censored.
- Number 6, That Senate Proposal is utterly and ridiculously pathetic (not to mention completely unenforceable and a DRASTIC waste of money), and should have been laughed off Capitol Hill, unfortunately our legal system is also that pathetic.
- Number G, I am a cynic from Hell right now, don't bug me"

So a troll attacks our internet safety queen by using his/her own cowardly cyber bullying tactics.
I hope you reported this person to Stumble because it is a clear breach of IP.
I also suggest that the person has possibly made a statement that may be of interest to the terrorist units. This person is suggesting blowing up my country.
Jace here's the addy for the Virtual Global Taskforce: http://www.virtualglobaltaskforce.com/. The comment about your child and porn bothers me and I would want it investigated in case this person is sending your child porn in spite.
It is said that people fire bullets when you are doing the right thing. However, the bullets still hurt.
This is a clear act of cyber bullying. I think Jace might need a show of support here readers.
Imaginif,
I debated for some time, whether or not to post this comment. Although I try to remain impartial, needless to say, his words are very troubling.
I think websites like yours and mine should exist for those ignorant people out there who don't understand the problem.
Chris,
Thank you for stopping by. I commend you on your excellent website and encourage anyone interested in cyber bullying to visit!
The premise of this website, in addition to the vast array of information located on this site is an asset to parents as well as children. The internet allows the good and bad of the world to visit our children at the touch of a button. Parents need to know the potential threats that occur through our web browsers. Chris Hanson has opened many peoples eyes using his Dateline NBC show the creeps of society and their efforts to harm our children. His efforts, via television are admirable as is this site. The information is educational and something we all need to open our eyes to. The Stumble-Upon comment is mean spirited, without merit, and frankly alarming. Please see a psychiatrist for your issues!
Jace... I'm sorry someone has tried to hurt you and your efforts.
Remember... as Aristotle once said, "I learn more about the writer than about what he is writing."
This is not a healthy, happy, decent person. It is a person struggling with a lot of darkness, lashing out in anger against you for his/her own sickness.
You are fabulous and performing a great service to our country, and to the children of the world!
Big hugs sweetie,
jen
Leslie and Jennifer,
Thank you both for your support.
I wondered if you ever posted this. Glad you sent me an email about it. Course I'm only two weeks late in checking into my gmail account! This is how I look at that stuff. I get all kinds of goofballs that send me ridiculous crap. Post it. Who cares? How ridiculous is he? Who cares what he thinks?
Hey Ev Nucci. I THOUGHT I told you this, but considering how my brain functions, and yours as well, who knows??? This just came out of nowhere!!
