Pedophile Run out of California....UPDATE

Posted on Monday, August 6, 2007 at 08:08AM by Registered CommenterInternet Safety Advisor | Comments4 Comments

Jack McClellan, the self-admitted pedophile who posted pictures of little girls on his “how-to” site, has been run out of California.

Friday morning, L.A. County Superior Court Judge Melvin Sandvig issued a 3-page temporary restraining order on McClellan.  The order states it is now illegal for McClellan to go within 10 yards of a child in California and prevents him from having contact with a child under 18.  He may not contact children by phone, mail or e-mail. The order specifically prohibits McClellan from following, stalking, hitting or loitering around any minor.  He can not contact or photograph a child or post on the internet pictures or video of a minor without parental consent.

The temporary restraining order is the first step in the process of a permanent order being placed on McClellan.

McClellan has not been arrested or convicted in the US of a sex offense and is not a registered sex offender.  McClellan continues to maintain he has done nothing wrong.

"All I can say is I've done nothing illegal since I've been here in California, the whole state. My conscience is clear. I'm just going to keep on keeping on what I'm doing, obeying the law," he said.

McClellan reportedly left LA en route to Chicago.

**This story is all over the news today.

Food for thought: Jack McClellan is not a convicted sex offender, nor has he been arrested for any sex crimes. Are we violating his constitutional rights?  He is no longer allowed to be within 30 feet of any child in the entire state of California, although he has not committed any illegal acts.

What do you think?

If he is indeed a self admitted pedophile then he is breaking the laws of society, rather than breaking the judicial laws where he is placed on a register.

People who abuse children are overtly covert - very open with the sneakiness and quick to bleat , "I didn't do anything wrong - you all saw me. You are all my alibi's."

I think the crime here is the State law. What a shame he can't be banned from being within 30 feet from a child anywhere in the United States of America.
