Michigan's Attorney General Michael Cox announced an Internet safety program he hopes all Michigan public elementary and middle school will implement.

80 public school districts have signed up for the Michigan Cyber Safety Initiative, or Michigan CSI. The online safety education program includes a 40-minute session for students as well as seminars for parents and other adults in the evenings.

Kindergarten through middle school students will learn the dangers of providing too much personal information while older students will learn about predators or cyber bullying issues.

Topics for parents include Michigan's online sex offender registry, parental control and social networking information will be discussed.

Additional information is available on Michigan's AG's website.
