2,600 schools in London are receiving software to protect them from inappropriate content and cyber-bullying.

The software reportedly enables computer activity to be tracked and monitors activity for inappropriate keywords, and takes a screenshot of the computer screen for  further review.

A group of 33 education authorities made, London Grid for Learning,  made the announcement at a conference in London.

Besides tracking in school activities that alert teachers and staff to electronic bullying and other concerns, it can also track people outside of the schools who communicate with students.
