An announcement from New York regarding MySpace is expected sometime this morning.

Reportedly, MySpace.com may agree to work with more than 45 states to add extensive measures to combat online sexual predators, including development of age-verification and other technologies.

MySpace may also accept independent monitoring and changes to the structure of its site.
